Tattoo Apprenticeship

How  to get at Tattoo Apprenticeship

The first step is not to approach the tattoo artist with out preparation

Prepare a portfolio of original sketches preferably done in pencil with lots of shading, illustration is not the best

Don't let your mom or a friend ask if they have a vacancy The answer will be no.

When you go in the studio talk as little as possible, ask the artist to look at your sketches, this will get his attention. Don't talk while he is looking, don't make excuses for your pictures and explain what the picture is.

When he is finished and looses interest ask him if he might consider you for an apprenticeship. If he says no ask if you could do some more pictures and come back. This will get him to think a bit about changing his mind. If he says no, leave politely and try another studio.

You could go back in 2 months and try again or You could do a tattoo training course and then ask again
