About Our Online Courses

Online lessons let you study from your own workspace. Plan regular time for reviewing the material, completing exercises and asking questions.
Check the selected course option for equipment inclusions and delivery arrangements. Confirm requirements with the training team before buying equipment separately.
After your enrolment is confirmed, follow the access instructions supplied for your course. Access and assessment requirements depend on the option purchased.
Use a device and internet connection suitable for viewing lessons and submitting assignments. Check any course-specific software or file requirements before starting.
Build your skills through study, practice and feedback, and work within your competence.
Essentials
Read the course preparation instructions and identify any supplies you need before starting an exercise. Ask the training team if an item or task is unclear.
Assignment-Based Training for Practical Learning
Assignments help connect the lesson material with the skills being studied. Follow the instructions for your course and ask for feedback where you need clarification.
Hands-On Projects & Work Studies
Keep dated examples of your work and explain what each exercise was intended to develop. Use clear, unedited photographs when submitting practical work for review.
Learn Through Doing
Use feedback to decide what to practise next. Completing a lesson is different from demonstrating a practical skill; follow the assessment requirements before requesting your certificate.
Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
Bloodborne pathogens (BBP) are pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood; these and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) can cause disease.
BBP training and certificate is included with this course.
BBP training covers bloodborne infection risks and practical hygiene precautions. Check the requirements that apply to your premises and services with the relevant local authority and insurer; a course certificate does not establish regulatory approval.
