Skinart Training Health & Safety Policy

Policy Statement

Skinart Training is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all our staff, students, and visitors. We recognize our responsibility to manage health and safety risks associated with our training activities and are committed to complying with applicable health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.

Responsibilities

Management:

Ensuring that all health and safety policies are implemented, maintained, and reviewed regularly.

Providing sufficient resources to meet these health and safety standards.

Employees:

Complying with all health and safety instructions and procedures.

Reporting any hazardous conditions or risks identified in the workplace.

Students:

Following all health and safety guidance provided during training.

Using personal protective equipment as required.

Training and Awareness

All trainers and staff members are required to undertake regular health and safety training to ensure their knowledge is up-to-date. Health and safety principles are incorporated into our training modules for students.

Risk Assessment

Risk assessments are conducted regularly to identify hazards and risks associated with our training environments and practices. Appropriate measures are taken to reduce or eliminate these risks.

Accident and Incident Reporting

All accidents and near-misses must be reported to the designated health and safety officer. An investigation will be conducted to prevent recurrence.

Emergency Procedures

Clear procedures are in place for dealing with emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents requiring evacuation or immediate response.

Equipment and Facilities

All equipment and facilities used during training will be maintained to a high standard, with regular checks to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose.

Monitoring and Review

Health and safety performance will be monitored regularly. This policy and associated procedures will be reviewed at least annually or following significant changes to legislation or our activities.

Communication

This policy is communicated to all staff and students and is available for stakeholders to view upon request.
